Guest Post: Holiday Treat Boxes

This time of year we’re right in the midst of giving goodies, so Jennifer over at Pass the Scissors is sharing how to make these adorable treat boxes with us. Jennifer is a master of crafting and makes the cutest and most creative things to make life more special. One of my favorite things she has made of late are these darling cupcake wrappers…anything involving a cupcake, right? And for those of you who don’t have time to make things from scratch, you can go to her Etsy shop and pick out something special to be sent to you! {we won’t tell if you try to pass them off as your own, lol}

Happy Crafting!

Holiday Treat Boxes

Hi everyone. I’m super excited to be guest blogging on this fantastic blog! Today I thought I would give all the foodies here a quick tutorial on how to make a super quick gift box to package all those awesome holiday treats!

First you will need two 12×12 pieces of card stock and it would be helpful to have a scoring board. If you don’t have a scoring board you can measure with a ruler, mark and fold carefully. Here are two PDF diagrams of what you will need to score, cut and where.

As you can see in the picture above that the white plain piece of cardstock has been scored and cut.

Here is the top which is scored and cut.

Once both pieces have been cut and scored you apply adhesive the the outside 4 corners. You will then fold up the corner piece next to it to form the corner.

You will then have a top and bottom to complete your box. Embellish as much or as little as you like. These have come in so handy for me for all types of gifts that I want to be super cute but not spend a fortune.

Thanks for letting me visit all of you here! If you want to come by and visit I can be found at

Have a great holiday season,
